Faux
Finish School Overview
Hello,
I'm the faux finish school owner and primary instructor, Dave Larson.
I have several years of experience in faux finishes, decorative faux plasters,
Lusterstone and many other painting and faux finish business aspects of
this great trade.
What qualifies
me to own and instruct in my faux finish school? I have a B.S. degree
in HRM & Business Management and have operated a successful faux finish
and painting business, "Attention to Detail Painting Inc", since
1999. I have done everything from simple repaints and plaster jobs to the
finest
of faux finish and faux plastering for private clients, restaurants, churches,
retail small businesses as well as large franchises on the national level.

My faux
finish school is an officially certified "Decorative Arts Center" faux
finish and business school. As a "DAC" affiliate we are bound by their
strict policies and guidelines, and must adhere to their faux finish teaching,
facility, and curriculum standards. This ensures the proper faux instruction
and facilities for each of my students.

The faux finish school classroom
is in my commercial building, it's a well lit, and comfortable working

Everything is supplied in class,
the faux finish tools, faux paints, even food and drinks, nothing to buy.
I
teach with several different faux finish products, all locally or readily
available for you over the internet. You can buy and use almost any local
paint or faux finish product when you leave, we do not sell you on one
specific faux brand name.
You will leave class with durable,
lightweight, and attractive faux finish samples on a realistic faux
finish surface, not plastic. If you fly in we will wrap them so you
can take them as carry on.
As a "DAC" affiliate, I teach
the specialty areas that I was selected for and excel in: basic painting
and plastering, product based faux finishes and glazing, faux plaster surfaces
combined with faux finish product glazing, "Lusterstone" (TM), commercial
and residential faux finishes and faux plastering and operations, business
establishment and marketing, trade operations, as well as hiring and maintaining
employees in the faux trade.

We are located in Fargo, North
Dakota, with easy access through nearby Fargo (FAR) airport. I serve
the entire United States as well as Canada, being located only 3 hours
from the Canadian border. If you stay at a hotel near the school I will
pick you up and return you daily, as well as give you a ride to the airport
on the last day.
