Day Three:
Faux-Mobile Wall (TM) & Pricing
A "faux product" oriented class
DACN

The day starts with the class being
put into teams for basic painting and faux painting both sides of the
DACN "Faux-Mobile Wall (TM)". You will tape and protect trim and moldings,
patch a hole, sand, prime, and basecoat using what you learned in previous
days. As a team you will mix your colors and glazes and apply the
faux finishes. After painting and drying the instructor will critique
the surface and faux finishing. The teams will then price the faux finishing
and come up with a contract for a mock faux finishing project.

executing the painting prep and faux painting information you have learned
in the previous two days is a major step in your "faux finishing" education.
You will also learn fundamental & advanced pricing methods and how
to deliver them with ease for every faux painting project".
